ModernArch is a true pioneer and exceptional in realistic resource packs for Minecraft. With high resolution textures, it transforms the game into a visually captivating experience filled with innovative ideas, by focusing on realism and modernism. ModernArch RTX is now available to Bedrock Edition, offering full support for the ray tracing technology. Prepare to be immersed in a world of incredible detail and stunning visual effects.

All our resource packs are fully compatible with PBR (Physically Based Rendering). Using various texture maps to control different material properties by determining how it reacts to light.

Content

As it's a WIP (Work in Progress) project, every week we are bringing new content by adding or changing it. This resource pack brings content from our other projects made for Java, mainly ModernArch, but also other packs, like Archaic.

Textures are made using Adobe Substance 3D Designer. is a software of procedural materials, where we can achieve results similar or even identical to those in real life.

Our ideia

ModernArch is a resource pack that started in Minecraft Java, bringing news to the game universe at the time its first version was released. Over time, the release of ray tracing support for the Bedrock version of the game and increasing popularity, paved the way for resource pack creators to explore realism, as was already done in the Java version, in this cross-platform edition of the game.

There are certain differences between each game and, therefore, it was necessary to make some adaptations to the pack. One of them was bringing some textures from our other pack, Achaic, to this exclusive version of ModernArch, to complement and give more diversity and contrast in the constructions that can be made within Minecraft.

In addition, it was also necessary to remove some resources, such as custom 3D models, for this resource pack to be implemented in Bedrock Edition.

What is BetterRTX?

BetterRTX is the world’s first Minecraft Bedrock Ray Tracing shader mod! It is a communal effort to fix some of Minecraft RTX’s persistent and worst bugs, implement improvements to the engine, and add tons of relevant, new features.

Why you should use it

Some of the changes this modification makes are: sun angle (no more always perpendicular shadows), sharper shadows, wavy water, reflective caustics and various bug fixes. It's an exceptional mod for those who like to use Ray Tracing in Minecraft, improving in every way this implementation of the technology.

Community-made

This was created in a Discord community and changes base game files that are originally not accessible. We have no contact with the development of this mod or the creator, we are just sharing it because it really is a great way to improve the Minecraft ray tracing experience.
